This work represents silence, destruction and beauty surrounding hurricane Katrina. It also depicts identity as a thin vail with no permanency, as Americans were referred to as refugees by the media during hurricane Katrina. During economic and environmental disasters, citizenship becomes flexible. Created in the New Orleans studio
